High Strength Concrete
High strength concrete is the most expensive to make, but strength is important for peace of mind and for project success. Valley Concrete has a variety of 5,000 psi mixes available. Sometimes there’s a need for concrete to get strong quickly. Concrete achieves full strength in 28 days, so a 3,000 psi mix takes nearly a month to get to 3,000 psi. A 5,000 psi mix gets to 3,000 psi in four or five days, however. Early strengths can also be improved with the addition of an accelerator, which causes concrete to set more quickly and gain strength more quickly. Contact Valley Concrete for more information.
